Letter! I love Fridays!

I got a 8 page letter from my missionary today! He is doing great. Sounds like the ward up there is kind of a mess. He is trying to help get them back on track. He said that ward hasn't had a baptism in 14 months. That's crazy. I'm glad they sent some missionaries up there to help out. I know Danny can do it. He said he is using his sales training skills he learned from his past two jobs. That's great! He's already ahead of the game. He has seen a couple moose and it's started to snow already. Oh boy! He has been in two earthquakes in the past two weeks. Haha, that's scary :) He has such a great positive attitude about everything. I love hearing from him. It makes my day, my week! I'm so grateful for him! How amazing is it that a 19 year old boy can leave his family and friends for two years to go teach and spread the gospel because he knows it's true! I'm so thankful that I had the chance to grow up with the gospel in my life! I'm pretty lucky to have him. <3

Tomorrow is Elder Holland's birthday! He turns 20. And now I wont feel so old (a Puma, as Danny would say, haha). Last night I had a special delivery for him! I had some balloons and Ben & Jerry's Half Baked ice cream (our favorite) show up on his door step. Funny! He will have no idea. There was also a hand written birthday card with it too! I can't wait to hear what he thinks about it!
