*The Best Christmas*
Let's start on Christmas Eve... Ok so Christmas Eve I went to see the lights down at Temple Square with my Sister and her husband and their little boy. After I came home and watched a movie then was getting ready for bed when... The door bell rang! So I come upstairs to find a HUGE present on my door step and the tag says "Love, Elder Holland". WHAT! Danny got me a huge Teddy Bear, and there was a hand written note in it too :) So sweet. The teddy bear is as big as me! I was so happy :)
Christmas Morning! I bet you couldn't guess what present I opened first! Yup the one from Alaska :) I got a little Alaskan polar bear, a cute blue jacket, a really cute necklace, a cute letter and some other stuff :) He's a keeper, hu?!
Such a fun day!
My family is the best family. I love how close we are and how we are such great friends :) They helped make my Christmas extra special! I love them so much! As soon as I opened all my presents up I headed over to Danny's house for his phone call!
I went over to the Holland's at noon. I took them a bundt cake. Aren't those the best? We sat around waiting for him to call and when he did I was so happy to hear his voice! We all talked to him for a while then I got to talk to just him :) He is the same Danny. He told me everything I needed to hear. Everything just seemed completely natural, we picked up where we left off in our last letter! :) I felt that we had so much to say in so little time so we kept talking at the same time, lol! He loved my presents I got him :) I think his favorite was the nerf guns I got him and his comp. He said they keep playing with it and shooting other missionaries, haha. He is now officially 1/6 of the way done with his mission. I've got this! He kept telling me how much he appreciates me and loves me. We have so much support from our families and friends it's great. As soon as I had to pass the phone he said "Wait Crystal Perry, Don't you ever forget that I love you" Awe, I had to hold back the tears. I miss him of course but I'm so proud of all the work he is doing. I know he is where he needs to be right now. He will receive so many blessings from this! I love him with all my heart. I'm such a lucky girl. Here's to the next 606 days! :)
