Catch Up

Time for a catch up post!

Last week was nuts! First of all, you know the horrible cold that's been going around? I got it! :( That was no bueno. Thank goodness for doctors and medicine.

Well, last week I had this amazing opportunity to be a full time hip hop dance teacher at a studio by my house. My dream is to dance! Right? I was so excited about this and I couldn't wait to start making up some choreography! Then I started to really think about it... I can't have both jobs, I had to pick my job now or this dance job. Tough decision! I couldn't have both. I worked with the days and the time off and It just wasn't possible to do both. I really wanted to ask Danny what he thinks about all this but I didn't have enough time to write him and get a letter back. I had to make my mind up in 3 days. So I did it, I made my own decision! I decided to not dance and to keep dance as my hobbie and keep my job. There's so much opportunity to grow with my job now! I can do so much with everything that I'm learning now. Through all of this I figured something out. I need to make my own decisions. I always ask people for their opinions. When mine should be the most important. I'll make the best choice for me. I'm happy with my choice! THEN, the next day I get a letter from Danny. Perfect. I didn't even tell him about this dance thing yet and he totally, somehow, reassured me that I made the right decision. It's so amazing that he can be so far away and not know much of what's going on with me right at that very moment and he still knows what to say. He knows me so well. I love my superman!  

Despite all that craziness, I joined a LDS Sorority at the University of Utah with my friend. I'm now apart of the Lambda Delta Sigma, Rho chapter. Rush was last Wednesday and then on Thursday they had a carnival up at the U with all the sororities and fraternities. It was a blast. Gotta love a good Mormon party! I loved playing dance central with hundreds of people. Tonight I'm going to my first meeting with all the girls. I think they said there's about 35 girls in my sorority. I'm excited to meet them all and see all the activites they have planned for us!

Danny's pday is on Mondays but he had transfers so it was yesterday this week. He really wanted to stay in the area he is in cause he's seeing so much progress with all his invertigators. He emailed me and told me he is staying and he has 3 people to be baptised the beginning of Febuary! I'm so excited for him! Also yesterday, knowing it's his pday so I wont get a letter until Saturday this week, haha, I got a package and a letter in the mail. Boom! He's the best! He continues to make me smile :) This morning I sent him my camera cards with lots of pics and videos. I love how the post office is on my side, haha. They always tell me little hints and extras when it comes to mailing packages and letters. They are awesome over here in Draper :) I love unexpected letters, emails, and packages. This week will be great!
