Hey baby, let's go to VEGAS!
On Saturday, my sister (who works in the office next to me) said, "Wanna go to Vegas today?" -Heck yeah I wanna go to Vegas. I needed to get away from Utah for a minute. We packed into her new sweet car after work with her family and a friend from work that was meeting my dad down there. Such a fun time. We watch Tangled, Ricky Bobby, Wedding Crashers, and laughed at dumb jokes. Car trips with the right people can be so fun. I think Tangled was my favorite part of the car ride. All the girls would bust out in song all durning the movie. What twinkes haha. Here's some pictures!

Sugar Factory in Vegas. I might of bought a $25 sucker there. But, it's Britney Spears, and it's bedazzled, and we got 3 free refills for it for free :)

I flew home Monday night to get to work the next morning. Someone needs to run the business when the family is out of town.
HAPPY 4TH of JULY!
The 4th is my favorite holiday. I think I love it so much cause we've had the same family tradition since before I was born. I have the best of memories! My family goes up to Brighton Ski resort for breakfast, then we decorate our bikes, motorcycles, barbie jeeps, and scooters for the parade. This year, my parents were out of town so I went up with my sister Lindsey. The brought some sweet scooters and a long board with them to ride. My brother Adam brought a motorcycle called a Can-Am Spyder up to the parade. It's like a 3 wheel motorcycle. It's actually really neat. He drove his kids on that, and Britni and I jumped on for a ride once we got tired of walking with the kiddos. After the parade, we all meet at the cabin in Brighton for a lunch with my extended family. It's always fun to see my cousins. After Brighton, I went to Lindsey's and we had a BBQ at her house, then headed to the movies to see Brave. Cute movie BTW. Then we jumped into Lindsey's new swimming pool! Holy cow, I know where I will be spending my days off :) Her boys are so cute, we played with beach balls and floated around. Perfect pool weather. After our fun day in the sun we went back to my house to sit on the deck and catch all the fireworks in the entire Salt Lake Valley. I LOVE fireworks, they are probably my favorite thing. The colors are just so fun! We for sure have the best seats for the firework shows on my back deck. After all the fireworks Lindsey and her family had a slumber party at my house. Such a fun day! Gotta love the 4th. Thanks Lindsey for a fun weekend, see you on Sunday for a pool party :)
